Leading global facilities management provider Norland has awarded trusted supplier 8 Solutions, a specialist at increasing efficiency and mitigating against the risk of down-time in critical facilities, its ‘Highly Commended Supplier of the Year’ award. The two companies have been working in partnership for over 10 years.
The annual event, held last month at Vinopolis, Borough Market, London Bridge, was the seventh Norland has hosted and was attended by more than 700 delegates including Norland’s managers, customers and supply partners.
Designed to recognise excellence, the Highly Commended Supplier of the year award is an independent award between all their suppliers and is based on a number of factors including; delivery, effectiveness, feedback from clients and site managers.
Steve Weetman, Divisional Procurement Director at Norland Managed Services, said: “Our service is founded on collaboration; working in partnership with our clients and suppliers. We have worked with 8 Solutions for over a decade and like us, the company is committed to excellence in customer service. We are delighted to bestow our ‘Highly Commended Supplier of the Year’ award to the team at 8 Solutions.”
David Hogg, CEO of 8 Solutions, said: “I’m really proud that 8 Solutions has been successful in achieving this fantastic recommendation especially against such stiff competition. Norland has more than 1,500 partners so the results are a validation from our clients and customers that our service delivery is making a real difference to the efficiency of their critical facilities.”
He continued, “Training is a critical part of our first class service delivery and our technicians, all of whom are security cleared, receive on-going training in both critical environments and in specialised cleaning tools and techniques which are essential to maintain the optimum performance of critical facilities. All our technicians go that ‘extra mile’ and it’s this exceptional service that Norland has recognised.”
